Open to everyone in the community! Join the girls in the program on May 10th, the Saturday before Mother's Day for the second annual Mother's Day 5K presented by Girls on the Run. This event is open to anyone and everyone. Please come out and race with us! Walkers and spectators are also welcome.

The race will be on Sunday, May 10th, 2007 at 10am. The course is flat, fast and spectator friendly. This is one of the largest running races of the year in the Elkins area. Come out and celebrate fitness, running, kids and spring with us!

Race entry forms will be available here closer to race date. They will also be available at the Elkins/Randolph YMCA as well as various other locations around the Tucker/Barbour/Randolph county area.

• Registration: $15 Pre-Registration (before May 5th)/$18 Day Of
• First 70 Registrants receive a race T-shirt
• Age Groups: Under 10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
• Individual Awards go to Top 2 Overall and Top 2 in age groups. No repeat winners.
• Post-Race Party including fresh fruit, fresh bread and homemade cookies. Possibly music and games.
• 2 water stations along the course (at miles 1 and 2)
