Open to everyone in the community! Join the girls in the program on May 9th, the Saturday before Mother's Day for the third annual Mother's Day 5K presented by Girls on the Run. This event is open to anyone and everyone. Please come out and race with us! Walkers and spectators are also welcome.

The race will be on Saturday, May 9th, 2009 at 10am in Mill Creek. The course starts and finishes at George Ward Elementary School on Rt. 250 in Mill Creek. The town is also having their spring festival that day so plan to stay for the celebration. The course is flat, fast and spectator friendly. Come out and celebrate fitness, running, kids, mothers and spring with us!

Race entry forms are also available at the Elkins/Randolph YMCA as well as various other locations around the Tucker/Barbour/Randolph county area. You can also register on race day, but send it in early for a discounted entry fee.

• Registration: $15 Pre-Registration (before May 5th)/$18 Day Of
• First 70 Registrants receive a race T-shirt
• Age Groups: Under 10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
• Individual Awards go to Top 2 Overall and Top 2 in age groups. No repeat winners.
• Post-Race Party including fresh fruit, fresh bread and homemade cookies.
• 1 water stations at halfway
